An Unremarkable Fairy: Poetry

 Liliandra

She's become fractured
by time and expectation,
Lingering whole only in silence
and when left to her own devices

The outside boasts of Summer
yet it is Winter within;
She yearns to find the threshold
of the Inbetween

She is a childwoman
wrapped in myth and zen,
 an unremarkable fairy
holding the flowers of Consciousness

Idly picking petals
of recreated dreams
while murmuring in candid tones,
"Loves me. Loves me not."
