The Answer: Poetry

At times,
I do not argue;
In the end,
it seems a waste

Others argue
their points and edicts
better than I

Yet I took my path
to stop arguments
and know silence

They ask me questions
on my journey and
I relate what I can

But I made this journey
to know myself
and resolve fear

And today I have
realized the worst fear:
Knowing Nothing

I realize I am one door
away from Nothingness,
broken down to my essentials

If I cannot be
in my element here,
then it is non-existent

Now I glean the doorway
behind the phrase
"I Know Nothing."

For it is a statement
of ignorance
and knowledge both.
