Incessant Thought: Poetry

I leapt over
the fence of Reason
and found
a landscape
Devoid of any
Philosophy I’d ever seen

Instead, there were
Children running
In spiral shapes
Beneath orbs
That looked
like UFOs

In the Center
of it All
stood a woman,
A tin foil hat
atop her Head

She smiled at me,
And said:
“Are you really ready
For the truth?”
~

You see,
There is
so little time
In the world

Yet
every moment
Feels like an
elongated Heartbeat
driven to its
limit by
incessant thought.
