Incessant Thought: Poetry

I leapt over
the fence of Reason
and found
a landscape
Devoid of any
Philosophy I’d ever seen

Instead, there were
Children running
In spiral shapes
Beneath orbs
That looked
like UFOs

In the Center
of it All
stood a woman,
A tin foil hat
atop her Head

She smiled at me,
And said:
“Are you really ready
For the truth?”

You see,
There is
so little time
In the world

every moment
Feels like an
elongated Heartbeat
driven to its
limit by
incessant thought.
