wrenching,
overwhelming,

a nibbling tide
at the heels,
foreshadowing
the tidal wave
that can drive
one to their knees

"Accept your
limitations."

to attempt to
calm a storm
of tears
without something
to direct the
lightening towards,
it's trying to
catch shooting

fingers made
of straw

~

The impossible
is the one thing
that you have
secretly feared
all your life
and the barrier
you'll have to cross

in the core,
there is a spiral
with a name
whose letters
are the same as
numbers
spoken by
a fairy drunk
with knowledge.
